EDITION 2025 - POETIC WAYS QUINTET

As part of the Jazz festival in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, la Monnaie de Paris opens its doors to its remarkable Cour Mansart to host Poetic Ways, a musical adventure at the crossroads of jazz and poetry. Born from an improvised encounter, this quartet led by saxophonist Raphaël Imbert and singer Celia Kameni has become a scenic phenomenon, mixing expressiveness, power and delicacy. Surrounded by Pierre-François Blanchard at the piano, Pierre Fenichel on double bass and Pierre-François Dufour on drums, they weave a soundscape where Gabriel Fauré, Verlaine, Léo Ferré, Nina Simone and Baudelaire meet. A concert where melancholy, joy and improvisation meet, to be discovered in the superb Cour Mansart, secret and restored setting of the Monnaie de Paris.

Our collections

The primary mission of the museum of Monnaie de Paris is to promote the institution's collections, in accordance with the Epic's statutes. It was awarded the "Musée de France" label in 2002 and must fulfill its own regalian missions: the conservation, presentation and dissemination of public heritage assets under its management.

This month, the Monnaie de Paris' historical collections online portal highlights the various coins and medals created by Georges Mathieu and featured in the exhibition Georges Mathieu. Geste, vitesse, mouvement.
