I wanted to capture not only her beauty and humanity, but also the strength of her character and the breadth of her commitment. From the daring artist of the Roaring Twenties to the courageous resistance fighter during the Second World War, this collection reflects a facet of her exceptional legacy. My wish is that these coins will perpetuate her memory and inspire future generations.
