Cloakroom
Cloakrooms are exceptionally closed.
Toilets
Toilets for visitors are available on the ground floor in the hall between the Cour des Fonderies – Benjamin Franklin and the Cour de l'Or, as well as on the first floor of the museum and in the historical salons of the Palace.
Children’s toilets
Child-height toilets and washbasins are available in the men’s and women’s toilets on the ground floor in the hall between the Cour des Fonderies – Benjamin Franklin and the Cour de l'Or, as well as on the first floor of the museum and in the historical salons of the Palace.
Baby-changing table
A baby-changing table is available in a room next to the toilets on the ground floor (key to be requested at the ticket office) and in the toilets in the historical salons of the Palace.
Folding pushchair
A folding pushchair is available on free loan from the ticket office.
Baby-carrier
Two baby carriers are available on free loan from the ticket office.
Step stools
Step stools are available on loan from the ticket office to ensure that small children won’t miss out on anything in the museum.
Accessibility
For blind and visually impaired visitors, various discovery tours with a guide are available by prior arrangement. For deaf and hearing-impaired visitors, discovery tours of the museum with a sign-language interpreter can be organised by prior arrangement. For visitors with general learning disabilities, a dedicated reception procedure and various discovery tours are available by prior arrangement.
Wheelchair
A wheelchair and portable seats are available on loan from the ticket office.
Audio induction loop
Audio induction neck loops (binaural or monaural magnetic hooks for people equipped with a hearing aid equipped with a ‘T’ function) and headphones are available on loan from the ticket office.
Illuminated magnifying glass
Illuminated magnifying glasses with different magnifications are available on loan from the ticket office.
Braille signage
The museum's handrails, handles and headphone jacks are accompanied by descriptive labels in Braille. There is tactile flooring before each step.
Lifts
The lifts have visually and tactilely identifiable call and floor control buttons (raised, large print, contrasting colours). They include a display of the steps, an audible announcement of the floor and the presence of an audio induction loop.
Guide dogs
Guide dogs are accepted in all areas.
