La Monnaie de Paris: a showcase of art craftsmanship

In striving for the quality of each of our souvenir medals, the engravers at La Monnaie de Paris take particular care in the production of the dies and the striking of each medal. La Monnaie de Paris has an expertise that has been perpetuated for twelve centuries. Engraving, mint working, stamping, casting, chasing, turning, patining, enamelling... expertise that is been demonstrated through styles and eras. Driven by their passion, La Monnaie de Paris craftsmen assiduously maintain and optimise their techniques, so that the workshop now holds “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” (Living Heritage Company) recognition.

Your personalised medal

The souvenir medal is somewhere between a coin and a medal. Its face can be engraved with a visual of your choice: the image of your site, a homage to a figure, or to celebrate an event.

The reverse side is engraved with the logo of the Monnaie de Paris. The medal has a diameter of 34 mm and a fluted edge.

Medal UN25 (UN01) in 17.7g white metal
