La Monnaie celebrates the Games

 

To celebrate the Olympic year, the Musée de la Monnaie de Paris invites you to discover the history of Olympic medals through a temporary exhibition in the museum: Gold, silver, bronze. A history of the Olympic medal.

It is also an opportunity for you to make your own sports medal (in chocolate for those with a sweet tooth) or create your favourite mascot in our workshops for young and old alike.

Our collections

The primary mission of the museum of Monnaie de Paris is to promote the institution's collections, in accordance with the Epic's statutes. It was awarded the "Musée de France" label in 2002 and must fulfill its own regalian missions: the conservation, presentation and dissemination of public heritage assets under its management.
