The rectangular shape refers to the Starter Kit format. The reverse shows two sowers accompanied in the background by 20 stars which represent the Starter Kit 20th anniversary and a reminder sun to the francs. The French flag appears on the furrows in heraldic form. On the face, we find the 40 coins of the Starter Kit with the « € ». The Sower in the background on the coin’s reverse side is the one we found «usually» on the francs, while the second in the foreground represents the original face of the woman who inspired Oscar Roty, Rosalinda Pesce. She appears for the first time on a coin.

This "Starter Kit" Sower coin is of particular interest to me. Beyond the creation that can be seen at first glance, it includes a multitude of artistic mise en abyme. First of all, the representation of Rosalinda Pesce, the mannequin who inspired Roty for the Semeuse, which pays tribute to the work of the latter, then the representation of the euro coins on these coins, a mise en abîme of my own work as the author of the designs of the 1 and 2€ coins!
