This collection has a special meaning for me. Engraving for the 180th anniversary of the SPA means putting our art at the service of a cause that is deeply important to me: respect and protection for animals. Every detail of these pieces is designed as a tribute to their dignity and to those who defend them every day.

These coins pay tribute to the work of the SPA, which since 1845 has taken in and cared for millions of animals and helped them find homes. In this collection, dogs, cats, rabbits and horses are depicted on bimetallic 5 euros coins. A crown featuring symbols specific to each animal (dog and cat paw prints, a horseshoe and a carrot) enhances the trio of representations on each coin. A 250 euro coin in pure gold completes the series.
