On the face we find the Napoleon portrait with his laurel crown. The Legion of Honour, the Eagle, the bees and the sun of Austerlitz are also represented. The mention "2S" refers to 2nd December 1805 and commemorates the victory of the Austerlitz Battle. Finally, the anniversary of the 200 years of his passing away completes the set.
The 10 EURO silver coin is packed in a card where we find a representation of the famous painting The battle of Austerlitz by François Gérard. The dates of his coronation, the Austerlitz Battle and also the Battle of Waterloo are inscribed. On the coin reverse, common to the series, we find the facial value surrounded by two oak and laurel branches, framed by three concentric hexagons.
