Designing this collection as a tribute to Marilyn Monroe was a real challenge for me. I wanted to capture not only her radiant beauty and incredible screen presence, but also the deep sensitivity and determination that defined her life. Whether it is the glamorous icon who lit up Hollywood in the 1950s or the resilient woman who overcame the turmoil of fame, this collection reflects the many facets of her artistic legacy. My hope is that these creations will keep her memory alive and touch the hearts of the public, just as she did.

This collection, dedicated to Marilyn Monroe, the cinema icon born in 1926, comprises a ten euro commemorative coin and four collector’s coins. The obverse of the coin features a portrait of Marilyn Monroe, the year 2026 and a starry background, echoing the quote on the reverse or the stars of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The reverse highlights the different facets of her life in the spotlight: the film reel and the singer’s microphone, symbols of her artistic career. The design is enhanced by her famous quote: ‘We are all stars and we deserve to shine’.
