This series’ coins highlights the women who shaped France History. The obverse of this 50€ Gold coin bears a portrait of Olympe de Gouge with her shoulders and her neck wrapped in a fine stole. In the background, a graphical design evoques the textile patterns of the XVIIIth century.
The reverse features a quote from the Declaration of the Rights of Woman and the Female Citizen, which de Gouges wrote in September 1791. The background includes a motif inspired by the Eighteenth Century.
