Since 2017 and after the Sower,Hercules and the Rooster, Monnaiede Paris pays tribute to a major symbol of the French Republic : Marianne.

Marianne is a symbol of the French Republic, an allegory of freedom. She is wearing a Phrygian cap, acockade  and is accompanied by flyingbirds.

In 2018, she illustrates Equalitysymbolised by the letter « E » of the word Equality. It turns intothe equal sign which links men and women with each other. Equality of the sexesis a key driver of the Republic.
