The obverse of the Asterix coin set shows Asterix with Idefix. The Gallic heroes seems amazed when being said he is turning 60. On the top on the left of the coin set, we can see the Asterix 60 years old logo. The Monnaie de Paris logo is visible on the top at the center of the coin set. As all the soin sets, the coins in brilliant uncirculated quality are spread in an hexagonal way with the 2€ coin at the center. 

The reverse is common to all the coin sets. It shows the details of all denominations which are on the coin set. The red line on the top echoes to the trousers color of Asterix. The representation of the coins in an hexagonal way is here visible on the reverse side. The Monnaie de Paris logo, the barcode and the informations related to the product are represented on the left.
