Monnaie de Paris pays tribute to the major aircraft along its adventure. Every year two planes are honored. 
This 200€ Gold coin presents the four-engine jetliner, the A380, flying above the clouds. A globe with longitudinal and latitudinal lines appears in the background, a reference to the distance travelled during the first commercial flight that took place in 2007.
