Designed in just 117 days, the Mustang P-51 is the most prestigious of American single seat fighters during the Second World War. Commanded by the Royal Air Force as a training plane, the Americans make it a fast fighter and very efficient it will be quickly deployed during missions to support ground troops. Its name comes from the North American Horse «the Mustang» and the P means «Pursuit».
