CONDITIONS OF NOMINATION The Mining, Industry and Energy Medal rewards individuals who have distinguished themselves through the quality of their services or the exemplary nature of their actions in the field of management and development of industrial and energy resources and subsoil uses, as well as training and community or trade union involvement in these areas over the past 10 years.
The obverse of the medal features the effigy of a figure of the Republic: Marianne wearing a Phrygian cap, with the inscription ‘République française’ (French Republic) below.
The medal, which is 32 mm in diameter, is attached to a ribbon that is 34 mm wide and 130 mm long.
