On the front of the coins we can see the different ways used by the Allies during the landing. In the foreground is a Dakota, accompanied by Mustang and Spitfire fighters. In the background, soldiers are parachuting in, while others are disembarking from transport barges. On the reverse we find all the flags of the countries making up the Allied Forces that officially took part in the landings.
