Description
2022 coins in brilliant uncirculated quality Perfect as a birth gift;
The Birth Coin Set is composed by 8 denominations. These ones are struck in brilliant uncirculated quality relevant to an uniform brightness of the coin. According to the international making standards, this quality is earmarked for coins which have never been in circulation and keep their sparkle as new coins.
This set will be produced on limited edition of just 500 copies. The 2022 girl birh coin is shown with a pink background, with the title of the coin set "birth of a flower" and the pink colour of the coin set refering to the rose that The Little Prince holds but also to the child who has just been born. The famous quote based on novel of Antoine de Saint Exupéry “All grown-ups were once children" is written on the side.
Our craftman
THE ENGRAVER
Trained at the best schools, they have the years of experience behind them necessary to master all aspects of the craft. Using industrial oil-based modelling clay and working from a design executed freehand or with CAD software, they skilfully fashion a low relief model in order to enhance the engraving and the way it catches the light. They work alternately with concave and convex plaster moulds until satisfied they have achieved the best 3D rendering of the design.
THE MINTER
The first minters began to ply their trade in France when striking with a hammer appeared in the 4th century BC. Nowdays, minsters use press instead of a hammer. Their knowledge of dies, engraving and metals, and their expertise - passed seamlessly down from one generation to the next for centuries - guarantees the excellence of their work.
